How to choose a cool domain?

Maybe you are here because you are going to buy a domain in the next few days.

The first issue is the name.

You should select a domain that is brand able (easy to remember) and that talks about your blog.

For example, “diegomoney.com” it’s a blog that talks about making money online, and diego is my name. That’s the way I choose my domain.

So, if your blog its about cell phones, for seo purposes it will be better if you choose something like www.nicephones.com, or something with the “phones” keyword. Also a description of what is it. For example, nicephones tell me that you are talking about pretty phones. So if you blog about new phones, then try: www.newphones.com (of course this domain its not available) cause someone grabbed it before you.

    The 2nd issue: .com, .net.ws???

If you have multiple choices of .com, .net, .co.uk, you should always choose .com. unless there is a site with high traffic with the .com, it will be a good idea to take the .net, maybe you get some free direct traffic.

Also, there are some .net sites, that doesn’t have the .com, then Grab it! You will get free traffic, cause most of the people are likely to write .com…

    The 3rd issue: expired domains.

As you might know, the minimum time to register a domain is 1 year. Some people buy the domains, and their projects get down! And they don’t buy again the domain, and the domain is free for grab now… That domain has built in traffic, back links, and In some cases pagerank! Yes, you can grab a pagerank 4 domain, but its hard to find one. I have found about 3 domains with pagerank3, and 2000 back links on them, and I have registered them. Then, I make small websites with that domain, and get again my 7$ investment that I made on them.

    That’s just an idea :D

The 4th issue: where to buy a domain?

You can buy a .com domain for around 7$, and a .info domain for around 2$. You can find domains for 2$ or less, but I just don’t recommend them, they don’t offer you support, the dns control its not good, and maybe it’s a scam company.

The securest and the best place to buy a domain its in godaddy:

    World’s Largest Registrar - GoDaddy.com

    or check this unique offer:

    $2.99 .INFO Domains at GoDaddy.com

They offer you domains for about 7$. But they will give you an option to buy a lot of crap, just dismiss that, and click only “go to checkout”.

That are the basic of buying a domain. Don’t be afraid to buy one, they make you look more professional, and your blog is more brand able.

Hello everybody! I had never been interested in building credit history until I came to buying a car. So I applied for several cards, paid them off and when my credit was good I managed to get a car loan. Now I regularly use credit cards for different purposes and financial tips I found at

I shop quite a lot so I am going to get a rewards credit card. I hope to save some money with rebates. I just want to make sure that there aren’t any hidden pitfalls in the terms and conditions. I would really appreciate your help with that. I’m looking at the deals at
