How to start blogging for profit?

Step #1. – Select your niche.
This is by far the first step. Many bloggers have failed because they don’t have a topic to blog. I have listed the top niches. Now start reading each one, and ask you: I like that topic? I have something to write for that niche? For example, don’t choose health topic if you don’t know even what is it. But for example, if your passions are the dogs, then it will be a good idea to write about them. Successful bloggers write about their favorite hobby, or interest. Let’s say you are going to study about programming. Then you should open a software blog, where you review software. That is just an idea. Take a pencil, write your hobbies, interests, and analyze them…

Step #2 .- Selecting your blogging platform.
I have tried many blogging platforms, but in resume, the best ones are:
Blogger and wordpress
But I recommend wordpress.
Why? Because it’s fully customizable, and I use it, so I can assist you in case you need help.
You can get a free blog of wordpress here and a free blog of blogger here.
They will give you a “name.blogspot.com” or a “name.wordpress.com”
But wait; don’t choose your blog name at this moment. Wait for the next step!
Step #3. - How to choose your blog name?
It depends on many factors.
1. - it has to have your niche in the blog name
2.-it has to be easy to remember.
3.-if you are blogging about you, or you are a professional blogger, then you should choose your name. But, you are reading this post, so I don’t think you are a professional blogger… so dismiss this step.
4. - if you want that your blog looks more professional, you should invest 7$ bucks in a cheap domain, and 5$ in a cheap hosting.

For example, if you are going to blog about “the best injuries on football” then call your blog something like: footballinjuries.com.
Step #4. Setting up your blog.
Yes, you have already the blog, but you are not ready to start blogging!
So it would be a good idea to customize it first.
Step #5 Find a cool theme and EDIT it
Your blog’s design is like your blog badge. A cool design will attract more readers. If you know a little bit of CSS and some html, try editing some cool themes (thanks to Carl for the themes) or if you’re not just in to designing. Just edit the images of the theme. Just remember to be unique.

Step #6 customize your wordpress blog with great plugins.
Plugins are add ons that will help you with your blog in terms of seo, promotion, monetization and will save you time.

Add to that list:
-Seo pack- gives you the ability to write a description and the keywords of each post when you are writing it.
STEP #7 WRITE QUALITY CONTENT!!
This is one of the most important steps to do. If you want that your readers are interested in your blog, talk about what they want. Let’s make another example. If you are blogging about the best pictures of the world ( I don’t know why I’m giving you wonderful ideas) and you have some readers that always comment about the “mona-lisa”. Then, it will be a good idea to write a post about all the secrets of mona-lisa, curiosities, and that stuff.
Make sure your grammar is ok.
I cant say that my grammar is perfect, I have a lot of mistakes. But before you submit a post, you should double-check it, to reduce the amount of mistakes!
